At the Academy of Art University you'll develop the fundamentals and principles of your chosen craft. You'll also learn to turn your talent into a livelihood! You'll become a professional.

Admissions
Academy of Art University welcomes: transfer students as well as students with all levels of experience. Requirements:

  • AA, BFA and portfolio development programs: high school diploma or equivalent. No portfolio required.
  • MFA programs: Bachelors degree, submission of portfolio, and statement of intent.

Scholarships
Since the establishment of the Academy's first scholarship program more than 70 years ago, over 45,000 students and teachers have been awarded through one of the Academy 4 scholarship programs. These unique programs provide students from all backgrounds access to the professional training available at the Academy of Art University.
